Accreditation
The starting documents will be handed out at the Marathon Hamburg Expo 2025 in the Hamburg Messe (exhibition hall A3).
Further information will be provided well ahead of the event.
Arrival to Start / Finish area
Due to nearly no parking facilities around the event area as well as numerous road closures we strongly recommend using public transport (U/S-Bahn) to travel to or from the course as well as the event area or the exhibition.
The best way to reach the start and finish area is by subway line S1/U3 to Sternschanze. Near to the start and finish area are also located
the stations Exhibition Halls (U2) and Stephansplatz (U1).
The regional railways RB 61, RB 71, RE 7 and RE 70 stop at Dammtorbahnhof.

Behavior on the Course
Support vehicles (cars, motorcycles or bicycles) of individual participants are not allowed on the course. Participating with inline skates, roller skates, skateboards or any other rolling equipment (except wheelchairs and handbikes at the half-marathon) is not permitted.
It is also prohibited to take baby strollers or pets onto the course. Please be aware of other athletes on the course and make sure that you leave enough space while overtaking other participants. There are timing check points located on the course to register your timing intervals. For organisational and safety reasons, relay teams will be directed off the regular course shortly before the handoff points and just before the finish stretch.
Bibs / Start numbers
The start number bib is not transferable. It must be worn clearly visible on the chest and may not be changed. In particular, the lettering and the barcode section may not be changed. Changes will lead to disqualification!
On the backside of your race number you will find the “emergency passport”. Please fill it out with your personal data and your Hamburg accommodation address (hotel, phone number). Please use a biro to fill it in.
As a relay participant you will also receive a back label with the imprint “relay” in addition to your start number. The start number and back label must be worn visibly during the race.

It is not possible to use the ChampionChip.

CAUTION: Unfortunately, the past has shown that numerous participants repeatedly do not adhere to this rule. Due to the requirements of the police and the numerous complaints of the residents, we want to advise you that public urinating is a regulatory offense. Anyone who does not comply with this rule can expect a police complaint!
