Today in exactly six months Hamburg will belong to you runners again – at the Haspa Marathon Hamburg on 17 April 2016!
Then, the blue course line will mark the route of the marathon and guide you through the city of Hamburg. The international marathon family will gather around the start on the red carpet next to the Exposition Center. From there on, the course will lead the runners past the most popular and beloved sights of the hanseatic city. Some of the highlights are the Sinner’s Mile Reeperbahn – the prestigious Elbchaussee – Hafenstraße – St. Pauli Landungsbrücken – Speicherstadt. After passing by the Elbe waterfront, the course leads through the the very heart of the city, and along the Binnenalster. Following the east bank of the Außenalster to the north, marathoners will see the lush city park, the Stadtpark and City North, which marks a turning point. From there on the course loops back along the west bank and one of the hotspots at Eppendorfer Baum. The finish is again at the Exposition Center Hamburg.
