The result of the election on Marathon4You, the largest online portal for marathons in Germany, Austria and Switzerland is now official. Over 13.500 users made their choice between 222 races and voted for their favourite marathon of the year 2015.
We are beyond excited to claim the title for most beloved city marathon 2015! In the overall ranking the Haspa Marathon Hamburg took third place behind the Rennsteiglauf and the Jungfrau Marathon, two scenic mountain marathons.
This election was not so much about naming the marathon with the fastest finishing times or with the most participants. Moreover, runners were asked to evaluate the overall experience of the race. After all, a scenic course, a one-of-a-kind atmopshere, a top-notch service and overall organisation as well as an adequate cost-performance ratio are more important to the average runner.
We take this honor as motivation to further keep improving your Hamburg race experience and are looking forward to welcome you in this beautiful city again!
