The past year 2021 was and is one full of contrasting moods, both large and small. Nevertheless, from an organisational point of view, we are justifiably optimistic about the future. Thanks to the early agreement with the City of Hamburg on “2G” (only vaccinated or recovered persons may compete) as a prerequisite for participation in the Haspa Marathon Hamburg, we can plan the 2022 season largely reliably despite the current tense pandemic situation.
We are pleased that we are approaching the mark of 15,000 registered participants across all competitions. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who have already joined us and look forward to welcoming everyone who is still to come.
In this context, we would like to point out that the starting places in the half marathon competition are becoming scarce. More than 90% of the 4,250 starting slots have already been allocated. So it’s time to make your decision before Christmas.
