Stephen Kiprotich has his eyes on the course record

Stephen Kiprotich from Uganda is the first Olympic and World Champion to line up at the Haspa Marathon Hamburg. He won the 2012 London Olympics and also the World Championship in Moscow a year later. On Sunday in Hamburg he will be going for the course record set by 2016 Olympic Champion Eliud Kipchoge. Kipchoge has raised the bar higfh in Hamburg by running a time of 2:05:30 in 2013.

Hamburg Collection 2018

We proudly present: The Haspa Marathon Hamburg Collection 2018!

As every year, we offer a limited Hamburg merchandising edition with our partner Mizuno. Show some color and celebrate Hamburg’s unique marathon.

The collection features a running jacket for women, a singlet shirt and  ¾ tights.
The men’s collection also features a running jacket. Additionally, the collection for men features running shorts and a nice training shirt.
You can shop the official merchandise collection at our stand at the Marathon Hamburg Expo (Hall A1) on Friday, April 21 and Saturday, April 22. On race day, April 23 you can find our merchandising tent on the open space in front of the TV tower. All items are available until stock lasts.


Haspa Marathon Hamburg Registration 2018 starts in 7 days!

Save the Date for 33rd Haspa Marathon Hamburg on 29. April 2018. For the first time you will be able to register for the next marathon alraedy a day after this year’s race.

Registration for the Haspa Marathon Hamburg 2018 will open on Monday 24 April 2017.


Entry fee procedure for the Haspa Marathon Hamburg 2018

The first 1000 start slots will sell for only 60,- Euros, so act fast and save!

The entry fee will then increase after the next 5000 participants have registered.

Starting on Monday, 24 April you can get your spot for the 2018 Haspa Marathon Hamburg here.

Final chance for online late entry

Did you miss out to register for the Haspa Marathon Hamburg in time? Today is your final chance to use online late entry and sign up for the Haspa Marathon Hamburg. The entry fee is currently 99,- Euro. Be part of Germany’s largest spring marathon and sign up here!

The registration for the Women’s Race is also still open until 11.59 PM today. The race which will be part of the marathon aims at female runners only. In a team of two runners, each runner covers half of the marathon course. To sign up your team, click here.

A special G9 summit: all partner cities join the marathon

All nine of Hamburg’s partner cities will be part of the Haspa Marathon Hamburg on 23 April 2017. Ambassador runners from Chicago, Dar es Salaam, Dresden, Marseille, Leon, Osaka, Prag, Shanghai and St. Petersburg will race as a team with runners from Hamburg in the Marathon Relay.

The cross-cultural initiative is under the auspices of the Sankt Petri Church in Hamburg.

All runners and fans of the Haspa Marathon Hamburg are welcome to join church service on Saturday 22 April 2017 at 6.00 PM.

Pastor em. Christoph Störmer is a passionate runner himself and will join one of the international partner city relay teams. On Saturday evening, he will guide through the service “CALM BEFORE THE RUN”.
