Registration for the 40th Haspa Marathon Hamburg opened on April 30th and we’ve been overwhelmed by your response. In no time, almost 10,000 runners have already registered for the marathon – that’s more than half of the available spots.
The demand for the half marathon is also huge: About 6,500 people have already signed up and there are only about 1,500 spots left. So, if you want to join the popular 21.1-kilometer race, don’t wait too long.
The marathon relay is already fully booked: All 1,500 team spots are taken – a big thank you for your amazing interest. Both we, as organizers, and our service partner had prepared well for the registration opening. However, the fact that over 15,000 people tried to access the system at the same time was beyond our expectations – which led to the overloads. We know how frustrating that was and we appreciate your patience, feedback, and enthusiasm even more.
