All doping tests that had been taken after the race on April 30th were negative. On the whole, urine samples of six elite athletes were taken and examined. As the agency responsible for the testing, the German National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) confrimed to us, all tests led to ‘negative’ results.
According to the chief-organiser of the race, Frank Thaleiser, “The results are satisfying and above all, they underline the importance of the job done by NADA as an independent monitoring body combined with the guideslines by the IAAF.”
