The 40th Haspa Marathon Hamburg was a spectacular celebration of running, with more than 46,000 registrations for this special anniversary edition. Alongside outstanding elite performances – including Othmane El Goumri’s victory in the men’s race, Brillian Kipkoech’s new course record and Samuel Fitwi’s impressive second-place finish – it was above all the many personal stories on and off the course that made the event so memorable.
